PDXFLASH at Compound Gallery
I recently visited Portland, OR as part of a six week hipster pilgrimage, and was lucky enough to be there for First Thursday, a monthly art walk event with lots of free entry, free booze and cool openings. (It happens in Johannesburg and Cape Town too, by the way, you should go.)
Portland being the creative dreamland that it is, there was plenty to ogle, but my absolute favourite exhibition of the night was PDXFLASH at Compound - a collection of art inspired by tattoo flash. So much of pretty naked ladies and intricate skulls. Take a look at some of my favourite pieces below!
